Steps to Recovery is proud to announce that we are sponsoring the PRO-ACT Recovery Walk 2013. The purpose of this annual walk is to provide hope for recovery. PRO-ACT aims to help reduce the stigma of addiction while educating the public. PRO-ACT also uses this opportunity to honor those who provide recovery services as well as the people who have not survived this all too often fatal disease.

Taking place on Saturday, September 21st, the PRO-ACT Recovery Walk will be held at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. With an estimated 18,000 people either participating or supporting, this walk is a great way to get involved in supporting addiction recovery. Registration for the PRO-ACT Recovery Walk 2013 can be completed by clicking HERE, and if you wish to donate to the walk or a specific team you can do soHERE.

What is PRO-ACT? Pennsylvania Recovery Organization—Achieving Community Together is a well-respected, highly visible, and vibrant grassroots organization for people affected by substance use disorders and their families.
