Steps to recovery was one of the best experiences in my recovery. They seriously changed my life! They are so personal with you it's unbelievable! I love them and would recommend anyone to go there! From the moment I walked into Steps To Recovery I knew I was in the right place.. The staff was there to go above and beyond for each individual client in a way to make them feel comfortable and safe. The men's phase 1 house I was in was always kept in pristine condition. The house gives you a sense of a home feel. Housing staff members taught me what it was like to live in a so to say normal manner.. as in cleaning dishes when I'm done with them, making my bed in the morning, and to respect others... What I learned at this phase 1 house are all things I use today in my day to day life.. The facility where groups were ran in (the center) again another clean and comfortable environment I was surrounded by people who care and wanted me to succeed. All groups ran at the center have a meaning to them even when you don't think they do. The groups were able to help keep me open minded.. Sarah T and Deena helped me on a day to say basis in ways I'm forever grateful for.... Overall I'm happy to say that this place helped save my life. I would recommend this facility to anyone struggling with alcohol or drug addiction or to anyone that knows someone who is struggling. This place is a 10/10 in my book.

The staff here is absolutely awesome and so kind hearted. They took me in when I was at my lowest point and fixed me up and taught me self confidence. When I relapsed a few days after leaving there I called them and they tried their hardest to help me. They sent me to their sister company in pompano beach Florida then allowed me to come back for their iop program. I am so forever grateful and I love every one of you!!!

If you are in need of a Recovery facility this is the place. If it weren't for STR I don't know what my life would be like. The staff here truly cares about each individual and their well being. And they are still there to support you even when you leave. The housing is beautiful and always clean. I would give 20 Stars if it allowed. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!

I've been to a few rehabs but none of them were ANYTHING like STR. People will tell you how staff at other places care about you and your well being but never have I encountered a more caring and loving group of people. Since September 2016 until now everyone there has been amazingly helpful. Even though I don't go there anymore if I reach out to them they help me and not only that they have reached out to me just to see how I'm doing. I recommend STR to anyone that is struggling with addiction because if it wasn't for them I know I wouldn't be here today.

What can I say about Steps to Recovery.. well first they have an amazing staff that I could relate to on a personal level. It wasn't just some drug and alcohol place where they just read from a textbook the whole time. They provided me with the tools I needed to overcome being in active addiction and continue to stay sober. I still attend the meetings they first took me to over two years ago when I was a patient with them. And yes I have stayed sober since I was there. So it is absolutely possible if you listen and apply what Steps to Recovery teaches you.

Steps to Recovery was amazing from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out. I wasn't the best client and they still continued to work with me and do everything in their power to help me and be there for me. The staff was nothing short of incredible. Some of the most understanding and loving people work for this company and I'm happy that I met them. I learned so much and Always felt love and support from them even after I was discharged. The one thing I appreciate the most is that, even after a year from being discharged, I still know in my heart that they would be there for me no matter what. They showed me the love i searched for my whole life and I'm blessed to have been a client there.

Str is a phenomenal program. I was so scared walking in there and was immediately embraced as basically a family member. This program contributed significantly-and still does- to my sobriety. From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel like family. You are no longer alone. The clinicians have a way of making you comfortable enough to talk about anything. They also teach you about addiction so we can better understand why we are the way we are. The Care coordinators have a way of making you excited about recovery. The facilities and housing are amazing and made to feel like home. I walked in broken with my head hanging and nothing but a bag full of clothes; walked out with my head held high and ready to fight to get another day and a new family.

This place saved my life. I left everything I've ever known to take a chance for a better opportunity and it was the best decision I've ever made. The staff is so amazing and they are always there for you and work with you. They understand what your going through and they don't always go "by the book" for every approach, which makes a big difference. The staff at STR is incredible. They truly care, and I always felt I could be open and honest about my emotions which can be difficult in early recovery. I relapsed a few times and after going to extended treatment, they took me back and made me feel just as comfortable as they did initially. The house is beautiful and the center feels homey. Honestly, STR helped save my life and I have more time clean now than I ever had before. I would recommend STR to anyone needing treatment!

Steps To Recovery is the most amazing rehabilitation center in the world. I am saying this because I was a client here and it was hands down the best. Speaking from somebody who has been to multiple treatment centers and who has been struggling with addiction for years, Steps has helped me find myself in my journey to becoming sober. When I went to steps the first time was in February and I was so broken I didn't know what to do anymore. Upon arriving I was greated with welcome arms. Everybody made me feel at home so strong that I felt like it was too good to be true. But the reality was it was true. The staff is so caring and they actually care about the clients. They actually don't look at you like a dollar sign. They want to see you succeed. One of the crazy parts also, is that the owner instead of sitting in a room upstairs at the center like 99.99% of treatment center owners do counting money and smoking cigars as they do it. The owner Ryan will literally be involved and engaged with the community. Something you just do not see. The techs are so amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and help you over come every obstacle thrown at you. Steps make you feel like a part of the family that they are. Steps saved my life. I came in February left in April and because of some things I did before February I had to pay consequences for what u did. But it's not how I fell that doesn't matter. It is how I got back up. And when I returned they didn't make me feel ashamed. They once again welcomed me with open arms and told me and showed me it is alright and the fight is over. I love all the staff and all the management at Steps To Recovery. Thank you for everything you guys have done for me. !

Steps to recovery was a one of a kind experience. It was ran very professionally and they made sure each resident was apart of the community and was made as comfortable as possible on a day to day basis. As a former client of Steps to Recovery I can say that this is one of the greatest treatment center I’ve been to. The staff there are very personable and truly want to help. When I first walked in the doors, I was defeated and didn’t think I could ever get a day sober. STR helped me every step away, they helped me overcome issues from my past while also showing me how to make a better future for myself in sobriety. Even after leaving there inpatient, they stay connected with you and are always willing to help.

Great experience. Staff is awesome and very helpful. I have never been to a program that cares more. I’ve been out of care for awhile now and can still pop in and everyone remembers my name. Steps to recovery helped save my life. Today I have 8 and a half months clean. When I went in to steps I was broken, alone, feeling useless & so scared. Steps to recovery has a beautiful facility& some of the nicest most helpful staff I’ve ever come across. I am truly blessed I found this place and I would strongly suggest anyone who is struggling and wants to change their life around to go to steps to recovery. I came all the way down from Connecticut and they’ll help with transportation.. they will give the tools to change your life, bring you to outside 12 step meetings & bring you to do fun activities which shows you that you can have a good time in recovery. Definitely call Str!!!

I have been to several treatment facilities and this one is by far the best one i have been to. Not only is the facility clean and well kept, the faculty that works there have amazing hearts. This is the only treatment facility that i have been to where the staff actually genuinely care for you and your recovery/well being. They have a unique treatment plan that works. Unlike many places I have been to instead of boring you to death, they actually make recovery fun, which in my experience has a lot to do with being able to succeed in recovery. I have recommended multiple friends and family members to go here when they are struggling with addiction and will continue to recommend Steps to Recovery to anyone who asks how i got clean and remained clean. I owe my life and my recovery to these people and they will always have a special place in my heart.

Steps To Recovery is hands down the best treatment facility I've been to. And I've been to many. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are willing to help however they possibly can. The wisdom and knowledge they drop will forever be with me. I love how they teach you life skills such as grocery shopping and keeping a budget. And that they show you many ways of coping and recovering such as yoga, meditation and music therapy. They get you out into the community for activities, meetings and going to the gym. This program is well rounded and all encompassing. They staff will empower you and teach you to empower yourself. 5 stars STR!

I've made more bad choices in my life to even be able to begin to count.. Deciding to admit myself to Steps to Recovery's program wasn't one of them! In fact, it is by far THE BEST decision I've made in my life by far. Their program is designed to be what's best for each individual client. Their program is by far not one of those cookie cutter programs. They make connections with all the clients so that instead of it feeling like your in rehab. They make it feel like you're at your second home, while at the same time you're working on yourself. Graduating from their program in my opinion is one of the greatest achievements in my life. I DO NOT have one bad thing to say about the facility or the staff. I heard somewhere that the opposite of addiction is connection. And that is one thing Steps to Recovery is very good at. To anyone seeking help with drugs and alcohol, my first and foremost recommendation is Steps to Recovery. And it always will be that way.

This place is truly remarkable it saved my life. This was the only rehab that seemed to make everything just "click" for me. The staff isn't just the staff, they are caring and loving individuals that want nothing but the best for you. Steps to recovery gave me the proper foundation I needed to succeed in my recovery. Although I didn’t remain sober directly after I went there, only because I wasn’t ready, the knowledge I was given never faded from my mind and it was readily available when I decided to make the necessary changes. The staff works tirelessly to ensure the needs of the clients are met to an extent. When you first come there, you aren’t ready to live your life on your own terms and they are experienced in helping you manage it. The facilities are beautiful to say the least. Gym acces is available, they pay for your food and you have a roof over your head. All the therapists are excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Steps to Recovery was one of the turning points of my soberity. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the staff to the housing everything was great here. The only downside I would say is the meals. If somebody in the house isn’t sharing food can go missing making it harder on other members of the house. If people needed cigarettes they would try to get them for you. They also do many various treatment styles which is awesome.

During my time there I received group therapy run by especially genuine individuals with real world experience as well as crucial one-on-one sessions with a counselor I felt a true connection with. Although, I wasn't able to go to their treatment center due to my insurance, they took the time to find somewhere I could go that took my insurance. I was looking for an Op rehab facility for my son and came across Steps to Recovery via the intranet search. I called and was so extremely happy with the person on the other end. I spoke to Jess and Lauren several times over the next couple of days. They were caring, kind, calming and compassionate to my needs as well as my son's. They didn't rush me, as I've learned when they are ready for help, they will go. I received several follow up calls to check on me and my son. They say always make a good first impression. I went to this place back in June. I was only able to be there for about 2 weeks before I had a family emergency and had to leave. But the time I with their changed my life. Every staff member was just so amazing and caring and all the people I met were just supportive and extremely helpful. I am still putting to use the things I learned There. This facility is about 8 hours from my home and it was worth the drive there and back. If you truly want help in to change You're a life there's no better place to go than here. Thank you for everything I now have over a 100 days clean and I got my life back.

Unfortunately I’ve been through quite a few treatment centers, but I can say without a doubt that Steps to Recovery has the BEST staff and clinicians by far. The concept of the gradual step-down into “everyday life” works! I started off in in-patient then transitioned to PHP and finally IOP. Going through the journey of recovery and self-discovery with the same people builds the kind of close knit relationships I’ve been missing for a very long time. Going in treatment this time after detox and a residential stay I decided to commit to long term treatment. I was nervous about it , but right away steps to recovery took me in as part of their family. They made the transition as comfortable as possible and time flew. They teach you to identify triggers as well as the core reasons why us addicts use time after time despite the negative consequences. The staff (techs, counselors , therapists , clinicians, etc.) are the best in the field, they genuinely care about your safety and well being!!! Highly recommend this program to the addict who still suffers!!!!! Give them a chance to help you and you’ll receive all the help you need plus more !!! Best life decision I’ve made was to surrender to this program.

February 2018 I went to Steps to Recovery. I spent 4 months there. 2 months in Phase I where I truly started to realize I am a good person. I had an amazing therapist. Eddie gave me a lot of inspiration. All of the techs at STR cared and listened. They are a part of the reason why I am still sober today! They are a major reason. I was in a really bad way. I went through rehab and thought I was going home right after but it was brought to my attention that long term treatment would produce better results. My counselor recommended STR and I agreed. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff genuinely cares and everyone is super friendly. The houses are nice and well maintained. I ended up staying for a total of 5 months between phase 1 and phase 2. I'm leaving today and feel I have gained some priceless information in areas such as relapse prevention and coping skills to get through whatever life may throw my way. I highly recommend STR to anyone who is serious about long term recovery.

I am leaving a 5 star recommendation because after many attempts at sobriety, Steps to Recovery is head and shoulders above! The compassion the staff shows is the difference between the success and failure. From the outreach staff to the therapists and support staff members, they go above and beyond. If you need help, you found your answer!!!! Thank you all for your help and kindness toward our family, not just our son. My whole family shares our gratitude! I did not know how beautiful recovery housing could be until I saw what Steps To Recovery has to offer. Combined with the great people and excellent programs I can’t think of a better place to go for outpatient treatment of any kind. They really care here and it shows in everything they do.

I feel truly blessed to be in the STR program. The one thing that really stuck out to me was that most of the staff have gone through STR themselves which gives me so much hope for my future. I love the staff, the program, and even their clinical team are amazing. They listen, they encourage, and they are great examples of what life has to say offer if we just give it a chance.

My decision to further my treatment of addiction after in-patient rehab, and doing so with Steps to Recovery, was the best decision I have every made in my life. I’m over 40 years old and wasn’t sure if an extended care program would benefit or be right for me. I currently have 8 months sober and owe the majority of my success in that, to STR. The entire staff, especially the clinicians, were patient, understanding and extremely supportive of me during my first few months of sobriety.

I have to tell you, I’ve been to rehabs all over the country, and this one hear is the one that did it for me, they are aligned with professional people who have no only been through what patients have been through but took it a step further and passed their knowledge and hope onto us. They treat every single patient the same, as a human being. Nothing else. They talk to you as an adult, and all they want is nothing but the best for you. All my life in and out of rehabs I have reiterated the words “rehabs are nothing but a scam” but this one here is far from it and slowly started to change that thinking for me. I came in a junkie with no control over my life, and left a true king of all aspects of my life. Thank you to everyone over there at steps to recovery, especially Jessica S, who made it truly easy to come back to rehab for the 100th time. God bless all!

Steps to Recovery is an outstanding treatment facility! The staff is really caring and resourceful, they truly care about every single client. The connections I've made here are made to last, and that is important to me and my recovery. They are even LGBTQ+ friendly they have a house specifically for us, it really is a luxury living with others who you can relate with. The thing that I appreciate most is that they assisted with fixing my broken family relations, they have helped through education and family therapy sessions. Everyone that works at Steps to Recovery is dedicated and compassionate more than I ever expected. I came to PA from a different state, I didn’t want to be at Steps but from the 2nd I got into the program and the housing, everyone, staff and other clients were nothing but wonderful and accepting. Now I’ve really started building a strong foundation for myself within the community and I’ve never been happier. Steps to Recovery changed everything for me, they’re completely qualified and understand and can relate and that’s exactly what I needed. I can’t begin to thank them enough but they’re really something special.

I don’t know where to start , Steps to recovery had changed my life. I came in not knowing who I was and had to make a huge life change. The employees at this facility are the most compassionate people that I have ever met. Steps to recovery saved my life.Steps was recommended to me to continue my treatment in April of this year. Php was suggested from the 31 day rehab I was at. I decided to give steps a chance. I arrived scared and unsure of what I would be getting myself into but the staff put my nerves at ease.Groups and one on one with counselors really made me understand addiction and what exactly was going on. This was my first time through treatment so I was clueless. Relapse prevention courses are very important, and the topic is brought up often.The housing is excellent. Beautiful homes and comfortable spaces, plus good people to live with and get to know. You feel safe, and can still focus on you and your recovery.What was supposed to be a 6 week stay with steps kept extending. I wanted more time with them and with friends I made in the process. May at this point turned to June, then august, then November, and now.I have been with steps for 8 months now. They have helped me get well, supported me, and are there when I need them. My parents said they finally have their son back and it’s all because of steps to recovery. I have even relocated to the Levittown area because of all the connections I’ve made here, and staying in PA will absolutely help with my sobriety.In a few days, I will have 9 months sobriety. Steps gave me my life back and I am forever great full to them.If you are reading this as a family member, a loved one, or even a person who is unsure about going through with treatment, please call steps. You’ll know what a single call can do to get back to who you really are once you speak to them.

The day time programming is well organized and effective and their housing is comfortable and well maintained. If you're new to this recovery process, trust me when I say you won't find a better place around. Don't get me wrong, they're not perfect (whatever that means)0_o, but they do their best. If you have state insurance this should be your ONLY start (hopefully). Their therapists actually care about your recovery. The center is immaculate when it comes to cleansiness and their housing is the cheapest in the area. Recovery takes time, so being around good people (their clients) is important. Trash doesn't come to STR and I wish I could say the same about the other places.LGBTQ? Friendly, clean, great staff, great clients.

STR has completely changed my life. I came in at my rock bottom. The entire staff is amazing, some I'm proud to call legitimate friends. They guide you through the recovery process and give you the tools to reenter society sober. They go above and beyond to meet your needs and do it with a caring attitude. They helped me with so much more than just getting clean and sober. They helped me learn how to be a functioning self-sufficient person. Thank you Steps to Recovery, from the bottom of my heart! It took until I was 30 years old to admit I had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, was selling myself short and living a life of self pity and insanity. Steps to Recovery was the exact reset that I needed. The staff is so kind and welcoming which quickly eliminated any and all of my fears surrounding treatment. The counselors are patient and had the gentle approach I needed in order to get honest and open enough to really look deep inside of myself & make much needed changes. STR recognizes the vulnerability that us addicts live with every day and continue to make to make the recovery experience one of happiest times of my life. I am eternally grateful for STR and continue to work the program. My only regret is not doing it sooner! I’m re-embracing life now and it is truly beautiful!

My son attended the partial hospitalization program at Steps to Recovery for 6 weeks. The staff and counselors contacted me on a regular basis regarding my son's progress and aftercare plan. This is the best rehab experience I have had with a treatment center. The facility offers a family support group twice a week on Zoom for anyone who has had a loved one at Silver Pines or STR. This support group has been a godsend for me because it offers a place to vent and get support, as well as learn new ways to navigate the journey of addiction. I have received education regarding addiction and how it affects the addict and the family. I am having a healthier relationship with my son and I don't feel so alone anymore. Great facility and aftercare plan!! Families have to be involved.

Steps was probably one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made in my life. Going to STR after a 28 day residential treatment center was what really commenced my recovery. I wanted to build as strong a foundation as humanly possible. They helped me get back on my feet and make a smooth transition into my new life in sobriety. I was treated with professionalism and respect. The facilities, including housing are clean, up to date, and run by STR with care—no third parties or sketchy recovery houses!!! I had been trying very hard to get well for some time but Steps to Recovery truly launched me into my new dimension of existence. TY STR!!

My experience here was through supporting my loved one. Beautiful facility as I got to do in person services for family Saturdays. Staff was warm and welcoming. I felt she was being supported.. When service were in person, it was wonderful.Virtual family sessions on Wednesday nights and Saturday at noon. I truly enjoyed hearing from families who felt the pain, frustration and love I felt for my loved one.I do wish they had a hybrid model allowing families who can't travel that far, that early to still support their loved ones who are there Saturdays in person. Maybe try an "OWL" Seeing my loved one, even virtually while they are in person receiving their support, while I'm supporting them, virtually simultaneously does make the connection closer. And I know it would make a bigger impact on my loved one. They would love me to go every Saturday but 2+ hrs one way just isn't always doable.
