Clinicians at StR help make our treatment unique by creating an environment that our clients can feel safe, comfortable, and heard. They provide the intimate attention and individualized recommendations to support our clients. This is done through one on one counseling, group therapy, thorough assessments, and meaningful treatment plans.Job Description
- Working 40 plus hours a week
- Providing individual and group therapy/psych-educational sessions for adults with substance use and mental health diagnosis
- Completing client bio-psycho-social evaluations
- Developing and implementing client treatment plans
- Developing and implementing aftercare and discharge planning
- Attending and participating in regular Clinical Team meetings
- Completing case notes and other documentation relevant to treatment, aftercare and discharge planning
- Attending and participating in mandatory trainings
- Assisting with intake/admissions, referrals and discharges
- Assess and schedule client support needs outside the scope of StR
- Other tasks and duties appropriate to the position and/or as assigned
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling or related clinical study
- Licensed in the state of PA as either an LCSW, LPC or LMFT
- At least two years of experience working in the substance abuse field.
- At least five years working in a human services field, preferably drug and alcohol
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs
- Familiar with evidence based treatment styles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team
